Anatomy & Movement Educator
The human body is nothing short of a masterpiece — intelligent, intricate, and beautifully complex.
To live within one is a gift. To study it is a privilege. And to teach its extraordinary wisdom, an honour

How I got here
I am a movement educator, manual therapist, medical acupuncturist and yoga teacher with a deep fascination for the human body in motion
My passion for movement guided me through my professional dance career in London whilst teaching yoga- a teaching journey that began over a decade ago in studios, to weaving in my knowledge of anatomy in motion on yoga teacher trainings
As a Level 5 Sports & Remedial Manual Therapist and Medical Acupuncturist running a waitlisted home clinic, my practice supports clients through hands-on treatment, education and movement rehabilitation
Before relocating to Costa Rica, I spent seven years teaching in London, where I became Senior Teacher and Head of Recruitment for MoreYoga- Londons largest yoga studio with over 33 locations
As part of their teacher training faculty, I wrote, developed and taught all their entire Anatomy & Physiology modules for their 200hr training, guiding over 200 students from start to finish both online and in person
Within the online space I continue to offer interactive, engaging education on anatomy in motion for both yoga teachers and students, including Roots To Leaves - A four part anatomy training through the body, Fascia Reset - an at home self release guide & Bitesize Brainfood- short, easily digestible anatomy trainings
My Approach
As someone who is completely galvanised by the human body, I find it such an unnecessary shame to regularly hear from teachers that the anatomy content on their teacher training was dry, overwhelming or just unhelpful in preparing them to teach
Since writing anatomy trainings, my North Star has always been to prove that applied anatomy is not only fascinating, but also paramount to understand well to be an effective and inspiring yoga teacher
My approach blends anatomical clarity with a creative and embodied teaching style. I know that anatomy doesn’t need to be dry or overly clinical — it can be fascinating, empowering, and immediately applicable
Whether I’m teaching a room of trainees or a one-to-one client, my aim is always the same: to help people understand their bodies in a way that is functional, interactive and actually transferrable into the studio setting
The objectives I carry for my students are
To be able to deliver conscientious classes from a physiological view point
Have a comprehensive understanding of bodies in motion, structures involved and the variety of bodies we as teachers are exposed to
Understand common issues & injures that present, and how to work with these
Appreciate how the systems of the human body interweave and work collectively
My approach begins global, and funnels into the detail, compounding their knowledge by returning regularly to areas of study whilst adding in more detail

Kathy’s energy poured through her teaching- knowledgable, enthusiastic and grounded. The accessible language she used and her articulation in sharing information kept my attention through out. As a Yoga teacher I feel encouraged to rethink how I’ve been teaching, what the aims of my classes are and the language I have used, and that is exciting.

How I can help you
I bring a fresh, embodied, and experience-rich approach to teaching anatomy on yoga teacher trainings — one that bridges scientific understanding with felt experience.
Rather than overwhelming students with memorised muscles and textbook theory, I guide them to experience anatomy in their own bodies.
My sessions are highly practical, creative, and grounded in the reality of teaching and practicing yoga in modern bodies. Students leave not just with knowledge, but with clarity and confidence in how to apply that knowledge in their teaching.
Here’s what I offer
Anatomy & Physiology Modules for 200HR and 300HR YTTs, delivered in-person or online.
Custom-designed curriculum tailored to your school’s ethos, level of depth, and student experience.
Course consulting — rework and update your current curriculum to the best of industry standard.
Interactive, embodied learning — using movement, visuals, storytelling, and discussion to deepen understanding.
Integration with asana, cueing, and sequencing so trainees can apply anatomy in real time.
A professional, supportive teaching presence with over a decade of experience in the industry who knows how to meet students exactly where they are.
I’m passionate about making anatomy accessible, inspiring, and truly useful — and love collaborating with schools that share this vision.

Kathy didn't lose my attention for a minute (impressive over a 9 hour session!) and I found it all completely fascinating. She somehow managed to break a huge amount of complex information down into something really digestible and I'm in total awe of your knowledge of and enthusiasm for all things anatomy. - Rebecca
